Hearing Gods Call
To discover the plan of life that could make you fully happy, listen to God who has a plan of love for all of you. With trust and confidence ask him. Lord what is your plan for my life? I want to fulfil it. Be sure that he will respond. Do not be afraid of his answer! – Pope Benedict XVI
The happiness you are seeking, the happiness you have a right to enjoy has a name and a face. It is Jesus of Nazareth, hidden in the Eucharist – Pope Benedict XVI
We invite catholic women of all origins and background to consider a vocation to religious life in our community. Membership is open to all catholic women, who want a deeper relationship with God within a community of sisters. “You have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in you” St. Augustine.
Realising that you have a religious vocation can vary from person to person. To one it might be a thought from late teens. For another it could be as a result of a talk or conversation with someone. For another it may come from reading Sacred Scripture. For yet another it comes out of the blue. Somehow a real desire to give one’s life to the Lord, some would even say a falling in love with the Lord that drives one to give oneself to God.
God has a plan for each of us. He calls each of us by name. Our task is to learn how to listen, to perceive His call to be courageous and faithful in following Him – Pope Benedict XVI
Nourished by personal prayer, prompted in silence, shaped by the Church’s liturgy, you will discover the particular vocation God has for you – Pope Benedict XVI
