Patron Saint of Diocese Honoured
The Sisters and laity lead by the clergy honoured Saint Aidan , the Patron of the Diocese on Saturday January 30th when they completed a novena in his honour.
In the Church of the Assumption (Bride Street) to which the Sisters’ Convent is attached there is this stained glass window depicting Saint Aidan kneeling in homage before Mary and the Child Jesus.
The citation of this Harry Clarke window is: ‘In loving memory of Lieu. William Henry O’Keefe killed in action in France’
